Climate change is one the biggest threats for our natural resources in the Wet Tropics.<\/p>\n

We are already seeing the impacts on the two unique World Heritage sites located in our region – the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics rainforest.<\/p>\n

While this is a global issue, there is a lot we need to do to help our region adapt.<\/p>\n

In 2014-2015, Terrain NRM worked with climate scientists to understand how climate change will impact our region. It focused on biodiversity, biosecurity, water, coastal systems and industry.<\/div>\n

It also looked at adaptation pathways and what we can do to prepare. This informatoin is available on the Wet Tropics Plan for People & Country.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
